REPLACEMENT/RETURNS/REPAIR:

​

  • Often times our jewelry serves a personal purpose, which is why we do not offer a replacement service and maintain a strict "no return policy." Should you encounter any issues with your "Innocent i," "Tiny T," "Terrible T," "EGO sets," rings, or any other item purchased from us, please email us within seven days of delivery at info@theterriblet.com.

  • With proper care, the structural integrity of our jewelry will last indefinitely. However, as with all jewelry made using similar techniques, surface finishes (including paint, polish, antique silver or brass finishes, ruthenium, silver or gold plating) will naturally show signs of wear over time.

  • This is normal and unavoidable. Just as you would not return shoes because the soles show wear, cosmetic aging of jewelry is not grounds for returns, replacements, refunds, or discounts.

  • We kindly ask you not to request replacements, returns, or future discounts due to expected cosmetic wear. If you are dissatisfied with the nature of handcrafted jewelry and its natural aging process, neither a replacement nor a discount will resolve that concern. Please consider this carefully before contacting us with unreasonable requests.

  • We always aim to meet our clients’ needs where possible — but we are running a business, not a hobby. We are kind, but not naïve. We wouldn’t call ourselves TERRIBLE otherwise. And you appreciate us for that, don’t you? ;)

MALAS

  • Our malas are strung using our classic doubled 0.5mm waxed thread and reinforced with an extra-fine, thermally fused, abrasion-resistant thread rated to withstand up to 8.3 kg / 18 lb (though we strongly advise against testing this limit).

  • If your mala shows signs of wear and requires re-beading, we offer a repair service starting at approximately €35 (final pricing depends on length), excluding shipping to and from our studio.
    If you live outside the EU, local re-beading services may be more cost-effective due to shipping fees.

LEATHER CORDS

  • We have upgraded our standard 2.5mm leather cord to a premium stitched nappa cord, produced exclusively for us. Unlike traditional leather, which may stiffen or crack over time due to sweat absorption, this nappa cord remains soft and flexible.

  • If your cord requires replacement, please contact us at info@theterriblet.com.

925 SILVER AND GOLD-PLATED ITEMS

  • 925 silver items can always be polished or repaired. A local goldsmith may offer the fastest solution, but you’re welcome to contact us if needed.

  • Gold-plated silver items can be re-gold-plated if the gold layer wears over time. Due to shipping costs, we generally recommend consulting a local goldsmith.

  • Please do not contact us asking to return your jewelry because "it didn't arrive on time". This not an option: if you have a specific date in mind (birthday, anniversary present etc.), make sure you order well in advance. We assume that the person who's receiving the gift is not a kid: they will understand and appreciate if you give them a nice "present on its way" card.
