Bazing I - alligator

This Mini Bic lighter case is hand-sculpted in wax and cast in bronze using the lost-wax technique, making it a truly one-of-a-kind piece. The surface features an alligator-like texture that lends the object a playful, tactile character.
The case is adorned with several silver components, as shown in the photographs. An Innocent I–style spoon measuring 6 mm in diameter and 44 mm in length is suspended from the base by a 12 cm belcher chain. The upper portion of the spoon is further detailed with a tiger-stripe texture.
The upper rim of the case is fitted with a 55 mm–long rectangular link chain (links measuring 4.8 × 13.3 mm, crafted from 1.1 mm wire), terminating in two irregular, handmade oval rings. Through these, the lighter case can be attached to a clasp and carried in a pocket, or slipped onto a chain or cord and worn as a necklace—the choice is entirely yours.
